Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Baik at baikapp.com, operated by Methodas Tech ("we", "us"). By using Baik you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the service.
What Baik is
Baik is a dua card deck. Each card carries an Arabic text, a transliteration, a meaning in English or Malay, and the source it is taken from.
Baik presents texts with their sources. It does not issue religious rulings. Every card names where its text comes from so you can check it. For questions of fiqh, or about how and when a dua should be used, ask a qualified scholar. We do not hold ourselves out as a religious authority.
Your account
- You need a working email address, and you must confirm it before you can sign in.
- Keep your password to yourself. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
- One account per person. Do not share an account to spread a paid plan across several people.
- Tell us promptly if you think someone else has your account.
Free and Premium
A large part of Baik is free and is meant to stay that way. Premium opens the rest. Prices are in Malaysian ringgit and include any tax that applies.

Nothing renews by itself. We do not store a payment instrument and we cannot charge you again without you starting a new payment. When a Monthly or Annual period ends, Premium simply closes until you choose to pay again.
Payment
Payments are taken by ToyyibPay by FPX online banking or card. Their terms apply to the payment itself. Premium opens on your account only after we have confirmed the payment with ToyyibPay directly — not merely because your browser returned from their page.
Refunds
- Write to us within 7 days of a payment and we will refund it in full, for any reason, provided the account has not been used to download or export Premium content in bulk.
- After 7 days, Monthly and Annual payments are not refundable for the period already running.
- If Baik takes payment twice for the same order, or charges the wrong amount, we refund the difference whenever you tell us.
- If we close Baik permanently, we refund the unused part of an Annual plan, and Lifetime and Founding Member payments made within the previous 12 months.
Refunds return by the way they were paid, usually within 14 working days once agreed. Ask at methodastech@gmail.com.
What you may not do
- Copy the deck wholesale, or republish Baik's cards, artwork or design as your own product.
- Resell or sublicense access to Baik.
- Work around the sign-in, the plan limits or the payment flow.
- Attack the service, or try to reach accounts or data that are not yours.
- Scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others.
Reading the cards, quoting them with their sources, and sharing a card with someone are all fine. That is what Baik is for.
Who owns what
The Qur'anic and narrated texts are not ours and we claim nothing over them. The card design, artwork, the written explanations, the software and the Baik name are ours. Your notes stay yours; we store them only to give them back to you.
Availability
We work to keep Baik up but we do not promise it will never be unavailable, and we may change or remove features. If we have to make a change that materially reduces what a paid plan gives you, we will say so in advance and offer a refund of the unused part.
Ending it
You may stop using Baik and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; where a paid plan is closed for a reason other than a serious breach, we refund the unused part.
Liability
Baik is provided as it is. To the extent Malaysian law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you have paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud, which cannot be limited by law.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the Malaysian courts have jurisdiction.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that affects you, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Baik after that means you accept the new version.
